Karen is a truly gifted spiritual counsellor and motivational speaker who counsels and teaches from a heart of compassion. She is very passionate about her healing work.

Author of Angels of the Maritimes, (Pottersfield Press 2008), Karen continues writing angel books with the hope of connecting people to their angels.

Karen has appeared on Breakfast Television and Live at 5 in Halifax Nova Scotia.

Always believing in angels, but not knowing how to connect with them, Karen pursued extensive spiritual trainging. In 2004, Karen was certified as an Angel Therapy Practitioner® by Doreen Virtue, PhD. Karen mastered an intensive Medium Mentorship Program (2005) and the Professional Spiritual Teachers Program (2006), both certified by Doreen Virtue Ph.D. In 2007, Karen received her Basic Mediumship Course by James Van Praagh. She has attended numerous spiritual workshops/lectures including those by: Adam, Neale Donald Walsch, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Steven Farmer, Dr. John DeMartini, Dr. Emoto, Sonia Choquette and Jack Canfield.

Karen achieved a Bachelor of Nursing from University of Calgary and a diploma in Advanced Studies Mental Health Nursing from Mount Royal College Calgary. To expand her knowledge in complementary therapies, Karen became a Reiki practitioner in 1996. Captain Karen Forrest (retired) honourably served 17 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, retiring as a Mental Health Nursing Officer in 2006.

Karen has published various spiritual articles including: “Crystal Children: The Newest Generation of Psychic Children”; “Understanding Indigo Children”; “Angel Numbers: Angel Messages Thru Number Sequences”; “Messages From Deceased Loved Ones: Learn to Recognize Their Signs” and “Discovering Your Life Purpose.”

With guidance and encouragement from her guardian angels, Karen commenced her Words of Wisdom Counselling practice in November 2004. Karen offers private angel readings, medium sessions, and spiritual counselling. As a motivational speaker and teacher, Karen offers a dynamic, relevant approach in her teachings. Karen is passing on her knowledge through various angel workshops and lectures. Karen’s life purpose involves connecting people with their angels, God and deceased loved ones. It is a life purpose that she takes to heart and pursues with absolute passion and a great leap of faith!
